a bit of a backstory
The first obsession I ever had was a gameboy. Took me a while to realise that addiction was just a part of my personality.
After the gameboy it was racing then surfing, then making surfboards, then climbing, then jumping out of planes, then acting, then martial arts. Writing fell somewhere in the middle of all of that. And there is a bunch of other stuff I´m probably forgetting.

I fucking miss that gameboy. I miss my obsession being something easy. Simple. Safe. Something I could do under a blanket... a warm blanket. I think every obsession I´ve had since then has been trying to replicate that feeling. That the gameboy gave me. Of being lost inside a world where I had superpowers. Where I could jump 30 feet in the air. Where I had super speed. Or where I had a pocket full of magical creatures that would fight for me.
this ring is always gonna be there to remind me of that.

Now my obsession is painting with metal. And this 8Bit ring was the first thing I painted.
Every five years [ give or take [ I get obsessed to something new, well lately it´s actually about every two or three years. Right now it´s this. I´m not sure how long I´m gonna do this for, probably only about as long as I keep enjoying it.
Ps. I also just kinda love that it´s funny and made out of pure solid-ass silver.
the first ring I´m putting out, so it´s technically where it all started and I wanted it to start where my first obsession started. An obession I probably share with more than one of you. An obsession that taught me life is at it´s best when played like a video game. Which in many ways is quite literally how I´ve gone about it. mans gaming out here bruv. A little adventure init. Treat it as such.
